Trade Cash, Trade Tech's accounting application, is fully integrated with Trade Manager and Trade Rates to capture and report financial results of transportation, logistics and other business activities. It is designed to bring discipline to the processes of settling revenue- and cost-sharing agreements between origin and destination offices and agents. It also provides all standard accounting functions such as accounts receivable and accounts payable as well a General Ledger that allows both origin and destination to share the same financial information.
User access to the Trade Cash applications is highly regulated by log-on and password to protect the integrity of the financial data and limit user access to only the financial data for the functions that they manage. Of course, senior financial managers have unlimited access to the financial data and reports.

Accounts Receivable tracks all shipment invoices that have not been paid or have been partially paid, totaling, itemizing and aging invoices by customer. |

Accounts Payable tracks all outstanding costs anticipated for each shipment, but not yet paid, produces Accounts Payable reports, including an aging report showing outstanding payments to vendors, and provides check writing capabilities. |

Agent Settlements captures all of the revenue and costs against a shipment and allocates the profit according to profit split criteria. It also keeps a running summary of outstanding amounts due to each station in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for final settlement at the end of the General Ledger period. |

Cash Receipts provides operations staff with the tools to post cash received against a shipment and, upon the receipt of payment, trigger a cargo-release notification to be sent to the carrier or warehouse to release the shipment. |

General Ledger controls the General Ledger codes (Chart of Accounts), General Ledger periods, and provides standard accounting reports such as Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, as well as customizable reports, for business management. |

Invoicing is flexible and can be controlled from a central location, via the customizable templates, providing the ability to broadly apply charges — such as Peak Season Surcharges — or specifically, according to customer agreed-upon pricing. |
