Amazon Web Services (AWS)

In April of 2017, Trade Tech took a major step forward as a technology leader and innovator in the logistics industry by moving all applications on to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud.

Why utilize AWS?

Leveraging Amazon’s state-of-the-art cloud architecture and hardware enables Trade Tech to provide limitless data capacity, speed, and reliability to its global network of logistics providers. We remain dedicated to bringing the most sophisticated technologies available in the market to our customers in the logistics industry. After extensive research, we decided that AWS is the most effective and powerful cloud computing resource available to support our products.

How does this AWS Cloud migration benefit Trade Tech customers?

• Exponential Power on Demand. AWS makes loading screens a thing of the past. Sitting on top of the Amazon Cloud’s enormous resources allows us to dynamically adapt to the growing demands of our customers, daily. When there is varying traffic to our website throughout the workweek, we can elastically increase or decrease the capacity of our system. This provides our users the most seamless and cost-efficient experience possible.

• Improved Stability and Reliability. The AWS migration virtualizes our servers and applications, providing real global scalability that is not geographically tied and vulnerable to hardware failures or natural disasters. Your data is always accessible, always secure, and always backed-up.

• Increased Room for Growth. We now have unlimited room to grow and a cloud architecture that supports our ability to create even more groundbreaking global supply chain solutions for you.

About Amazon Web Services, from AWS:

For 10 years, Amazon Web Services has been the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform.
